Carys Jones is an award-winning equine photographer, who travels internationally to createher fine art images, seeking out horses in their native environments. She is drawn tolocations offering soft palettes and to situations allowing her to observe horses in theirnative habitats, where they are free to exhibit natural equine behaviour. Regulardestinations to date include Iceland, Portugal, Norway, The Netherlands, France, Austria andthe Outer Hebrides in Scotland.Carys is renowned for her particularly creative approach toequine photography. She oftenuses slow shutter speeds, multiple exposures, intentional camera movement and other in-camera techniques to create her striking abstract equine images. Intrigued by the creativeabilities of the camera, Carys uses it to see what others do not.
